Title IX Protections and Reporting


Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 protects students and employees from discrimination on the basis of sex in educational programs and activities receiving federal financial assistance. This includes protection from sex discrimination, gender-based harassment, sexual harassment (including sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking), gender-based bullying, and retaliation.
