Message from the Principal
Hello!
It’s an honor to serve as Director and Principal of Save Our Streets Academy. Though I left Bryan in 1977, my personal and professional journey has brought me back home—and I’m proud to give back to the community that helped shape me.
After graduating from Bryan High and earning degrees from Sam Houston State University and Prairie View A&M, I was privileged to serve students across Huntsville, Aldine, and Katy ISDs. Over the years, I’ve learned that the most effective teaching strategies transcend grade levels—and that all students, regardless of age, thrive when they know they’re truly cared for.
I’m passionate about education because I believe in people and the power of learning. A quality education can change the course of a child’s life. That’s why I lead with respect, integrity, and a deep belief that character matters more than position. I strive to model the behavior I hope to see in my students and staff—and I expect the best because I believe in their best.
At Arrow SOS, we say, “Direction Determines Destination.” I’m honored to help shape that direction—and walk alongside our students, staff, and families toward a brighter future.
Sincerely,
Becky Tucker
