Open Enrollment: Your Pathway to a Brighter Future
Enrollment at Arrow Academy is simple and designed to give every student an equal opportunity to join our community. Review the key dates and important details below to understand how the process works and how you can apply.
- Open enrollment runs November 1 through February 10 each year.
- Applications received during open enrollment are entered into a lottery if the number of applications exceeds our enrollment capacity.
- The lottery, if required, takes place on the first Monday after February 10.
- Applications submitted after February 10 are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis if space is available. Otherwise, those applications are placed on the wait list in the order received.
How Our Lottery Works: Equal Chances For Every Family
When demand exceeds available seats, Arrow Academy uses a transparent lottery system to ensure fairness. During open enrollment, siblings of current students and children of our staff receive priority to support family unity, while all others enter the lottery on equal footing.
- All applications received during open enrollment are eligible for the lottery when demand exceeds available seats for a campus or grade.
- If fewer applications are received than seats available, all eligible applicants are automatically accepted.
- Priority in the lottery is given to siblings of current students and children of employed teachers during open enrollment only.
- After open enrollment, no priority is given.
- Once seats are filled, remaining applicants will be placed on the wait list in lottery order.

Waitlist Procedures
If a grade or campus is full, applications received after open enrollment will be placed on a waitlist in the order they are received. Families on the waitlist will be contacted as soon as a seat becomes available, ensuring a smooth and fair opportunity for enrollment.
- Applications received after February 10 are added to the wait list in order of receipt.
- Lottery applicants not selected are placed at the top of the wait list based on the order drawn.
- When seats open, the next student on the wait list for that campus and grade is offered enrollment.
Re-enrollment for Current Students
Returning families can secure their student’s spot for the upcoming school year during our annual re-enrollment period in March. To guarantee placement, parents must complete the online re-enrollment process by the provided deadline.
- Re-enrollment opens in March each year for returning students.
- Families must complete re-enrollment by the deadline communicated via email and notes home to guarantee a seat for the next school year.
- After the deadline, students may lose their spot and must reapply, possibly joining the wait list.
- Sibling applications for the next school year are accepted during open enrollment and prioritized accordingly.
